Linux kernel Test Infrastructure developer

You will work in a Linux kernel team in Intel OTC (Open source technology
center). The Intel OTC PRC Linux kernel team is one of the best Linux kernel
teams in China. You will be part of the team and contribute your talent in
improving Linux kernel performance&quality with open source community. You
will also work with many cutting-edge technologies or tools and dive deeply
into system-level knowledge (e.g. OS internals, power and performance, etc).
In this position, your responsibility will include but not be limited to:
- Develop, optimize and maintain the automated Linux Kernel Performance test
system, aka. 0day, one of the best kernel performance test/analysis
systems in the world
- Automate test cases with advanced automation technologies
- With the test tool, analyze and identify the Linux kernel performance gaps
and work with the Linux kernel community to push the performance fix
Qualifications
- Self-motivated with great passion on automated test tools and open source
community
- Experience in software design, coding, and test automation
- Master the script (e.g. Shell, Ruby) and C programming language
- Linux kernel patch/configure/build experience
- Proven track record in analysing or improving performance issues on Linux
- Strong problem solving capability on Linux environment
- Linux kernel community working experience, with git/LKML record is a plus
- Linux kernel knowledge/working experience is a plus
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
