Title: SDN/NFV Software Engineer
Job Description:
In this position, you will join Intel Network Platform Group Software Team
at China as a software solution architect. You will be responsible for
building the software defined network and network function virtualization,
or network security solution on Intel® Platform which includes Intel
Processor, Intel QuickAssist Technology (Intel® QAT) products and Ethernet
technology and optimized software libraries. As part of software development
team, you will define and understand the product requirement, design and
implement the technical solutions for Telco, data center, enterprise use
scenario. You will contribute to brainstorming and creating solutions for
general technical and performance issues as they arise. You will also be
responsible for diagnosing and fixing bugs reported by the customers. You
will be expected to participate in CMM Level 3 software development
practices, including project planning and tracking, development and peer
review of written software design specifications, peer review of developed
code, test specification and preparation of code metrics.
Qualifications:
Basic requirements:
- You must possess a PhD/Master Degree in CS or equivalent.
- Deep knowledge and technical research in SDN and NFV
- Good understanding of Linux/FreeBSD like system and Internals.
- Good understanding of computer architecture.
- Good understanding of TCP/IP network
- Good understanding of Virtualization technology (VMWARE, KVM or XEN),
Network virtualization.
- Good understanding of C programming skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (English) and
the ability to work as part of a multisite team.
- Be comfortable interfacing with customers and the ability to work
with customers and to assist them to resolve technical issues.
