Title: Media Processing Software Engineer 
Job Description:
The Media Processing Team is part of the Network Platforms Group in the Data 
Center Group.  In this position, you will be a part of the Media Processing 
Engineering team to develop highly optimized media software using C/C++/
OpenCL to provide solution to the industry running on IA technology.

Responsibilities
You will work within an engineering team to design and develop video/audio/
speech software for Intel based platforms. 
 
Your work includes but not limited to: 
•       　Design and implement software for media player and video/audio 
codec on Linux align to platform planning.
•       　Software integration, performance benchmarking, tuning and 
optimization. 
•       　Understand customer technical needs, resolve customer technical 
questions, and develop a deep understanding of customer usage models and 
applications.

Qualifications
•       　Master degree of Electronic Engineering, Automation or Computer 
Science (or equivalent).
•       　Solid C or C++ programming and debugging skills. 
•       　Familiar with Linux system. 
•       　Good knowledge in at least one of these areas: media player, 
video/audio driver, video/audio codecs, graphics, image processing, etc.
•       　Fluent in English.

Optional Skills
•       　Good knowledge in heterogeneous compute, like OpenCL.
•       　Overall understanding of Intel Architecture, knowledge of Intel 
Architecture based platforms.
