Title: Senior Customer Engagement Engineer 
 　
Position Description: 
The primary responsibility is designing, developing, troubleshooting and 
debugging software programs on Unix/Linux platforms. 
Will be involved in developing software tools for advanced chip design 
platforms. 
The responsibilities also include engaging with customers in understanding 
their ASIC design requirements for nano-technology process nodes and 
assisting them in adopting Cadence design platform and helping them in 
performing successful tape outs of their System-on-chip designs using the 
same. 
The job will also involves presenting and demonstrating relevant Cadence 
technologies and carrying out product evaluations, workshops, trainings and 
competitive replacement campaigns. 
 　
Position Requirements: 
The candidates should have strong in-depth P&R design experience in COT or 
ASIC area. 
Experience and ability to get solutions in Floor plan, Power Planning/
Analysis, CTS, timing optimization/analysis, signal integrity and DFM issues 
(DRC & Antenna) is a MUST. Strong interest and understanding of design 
methodologies are required. 
Need to have good knowledge on VDSM (40nm and below) processes issues. 
Good verbal and written presentation are must. 
Hands-on Cadence Encounter experience is a big plus. 
Minimum master degrees in EE or CS.

1. Senior Product Engineer-EDI
 　
Position Description: 
1. Design and develop cutting edge technologies of Encounter Digital 
Implementation (EDI) System, to address future and immediate customer 
requirements.
2. Collaborate with R&D and production validation team to deliver high 
quality software release
3. Provide techincal support and trainings for Cadence AP business
4. Communicate with global cross-function team to create technical solutions 
and involve in customer engagement 
 　
Position Requirements: 
1. CS/EE MS with IC physical design experience.
2. Be familiar with IC back-end design flow, including place, route, clock 
tree synthesis and timing optimization.
3. Strong analysis/debug capability for technical issues.
4. Good team spirit and be able to work under pressure.
5. Good communication skill in English

2. Principal Product Engineer (数字后端产品工程)

Position Description:

1.Work in shanghai Engagement PE team, mainly focus on TSMC-related project.
20nm and 16nm FinFET flow establishment, from synthesis to final SI timing 
closure
2.Work closely with other team members for technique communication and 
projects. 
3.Can take lead role in project plan and action.
4.Co-work closely with R&D team to find the debug the software problem in a 
IC backend way as early as possible.

Position Requirements: 

1. Master with 7-8 years working experience or Bachelor with about 10years 
experience.
IC design background, especially in the back-end flow. Low Power related 
working experience will be a strong plus.
2. Syntheis, Backend experience, LVS, DRC, CLP knowledge and tape-out 
experience.
Unix System knowledge, vi/TCL/TK/CSH will be plus.
3. Strong scripting capability, including shell/tcl/perl.
4. Good communication in English and Chinese, good confidence and good self-
motivation.
5. Good team spirit, well-aligned with the "One Cadence, One Team."

3. Principal Product Engineer -SSV

Position Description: 
1. Work in shanghai Silicon Signoff and Verification (SSV) electrical PE 
team, mainly focus on Virtuoso Power System (VPS) and Voltus Power System (
Voltus).
2. Support key customer engagements and local AEs to help on the business 
increasement. 
3. Working as a domain expert to well communicate with customers for their 
valuable feedbacks
4. Co-work closely with R&D team to enhace the tool based on customers' real 
demandings
 
 　
Position Requirements:
1. Master with 7-8 years working experience or Bachelor with about 10 years 
experience.
    IC design background, especially in Cadence Virtuoso platform. Cadence 
Encounter platform experience will be a plus 
2. One or both of electrical analysis experience on power and is necessary
3. Working experience with foundry and process tech files, spice models are 
desired
4. Product Engineering and customer supporting experience is desired. 
5. Good communication in English and Chinese, good confidence and good self-
motivation.
6. Good team spirit, well-aligned with the "One Cadence, One Team."
